The National Elementary Honor Society (NEHS) was established to recognize elementary students for their outstanding academic achievement and demonstrated personal responsibility, to provide meaningful service to the school and community, and to develop essential leadership skills in the students of elementary schools.
The NEHS program empowers and equips students with the knowledge and skills to be leaders in our school, community, and beyond. In addition, it provides a bridge between students and school leaders, helping to engage and hear what students think, feel, and need.
Students fifth grade who meet the GPA requirement, are eligible to be candidates for membership. Also considered are the positive qualities of responsibility, which include high standards of honesty and reliability, demonstrating courtesy, concern, and respect for others, as well as good citizenship.
